Lee Chun-Soo Meets Ronaldinho…”My brother is the No. 1 ugly soccer player”

Former national soccer player Lee Chun-soo talks to Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho.

On March 30, the 토토 EA Sports FIFA Online 4 YouTube channel released a video of an interview with Ronaldinho, who recently visited Korea.

“Probably Korea is one of the most welcoming places in the world for me,” Ronaldinho said. I’m very happy to be here,” he said, greeting the fans.

When asked what he would have done if he had faced South Korea in the final, Ronaldinho, who won the 2002 World Cup, said, “It would have been very difficult,” but added, “I think Brazil would have won no matter what team they played.”

Lee continued, “Before the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the Internet voted for the ‘ugliest soccer player in the world,’ and my brother (Ronaldinho) was first, I was second, and Argentine soccer player Tevez was third. I asked him, “What do you think?

Ronaldinho laughed and said, “You’re right, I don’t care, I only care about winning. I don’t care about anything but winning,” he said coolly. Then, Lee Ik-soo said, “Okay, my brother is first,” causing laughter.

Meanwhile, Ronaldinho, who visited Korea on the 8th of this month, left the country on the 12th after holding a youth soccer clinic and experiencing Korean culture. The Brazilian won the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, the 2005 Ballon d’Or and the 2004 and 2005 FIFA World Player of the Year awards.
