Kim Min-jae’s teammate ‘Dyer’ leaves Munich

German media predicted that Kim Min-jae’s teammate Eric Dier (30) would leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

On the 22nd (Korean time), Germany’s ‘Get Football News’ said, “Eric Dier will leave Munich after the end of the season,” and Munich decided to end the contract with manager Tuchel, who took the lead in recruiting Dier, in June. I heard it as a basis.

He also said, “There are great doubts about Dier’s performance,” and “He is not fast, and has been used in five games since joining Munich. “If Dier continues to play, his permanent transfer clause will be triggered.”

He said, “Tuchel was one of the people who led the recruitment of Dier. “If he leaves, Dier will not be able to stay in Munich,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Munich announced last month that it had recruited Dier through official channels such as the club’s official website.

Dyer’s contract expires on June 30 and includes a one-year extension option.

Dier, who left Sporting CP and moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 2014, has played in 363 official games for Tottenham alone.

Entering his 10th season in the 2023-24 season, Dier has established himself as a key part of the team, having previously appeared in 197 games as a centre-back, 136 as a defensive midfielder and 25 in other positions.

Dyer’s position as the team’s mainstay every season began to decline in the 2023-24 season.

This is because coach Antonio Conte left the team and new coach Enzi Postecoglou was appointed, and with Mickey van der Ven and Christian Romero taking over as starting center backs, there was no room for them to stand.

In addition, as he was pointed out as a weakness in Tottenham’s defense, he was reduced to a surplus resource for the team, and was occasionally on the field as a substitute.

Accordingly, Dier chose to move to Munich, and it is known that Dier’s transfer was made after Harry Kane recommended him to coach Tuchel.
