The SSG Landers won their second straight game in a comfortable fashion, led by the big hitting of Choo Shin-soo and Han Yu-seom.
The SSG bats pounded out 15 hits in the first game of the weekend series against the Hanwha Eagles at the Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on Thursday, winning 11-4 in the first game of the 2024 Shinhan Bank SOL Bank KBO League. With their second straight win, SSG improved to 35-32-1 and remained in fifth place.
SSG struck first in the top of the first inning. After leadoff hitter Choi Ji-hoon grounded out to second base, the next batter, Choo Shin-soo, took a two-pitch fastball from Hanwha starter Moon Dong-joo for a solo home run over the left field wall.
Hanwha answered right back in the bottom of the first. Choi In-ho and Noh Si-hwan singled, Chae Eun-sung walked, and Kim Tae-yeon drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game.
In the top of the third inning, SSG added three runs to regain the lead. After a leadoff single by Jung Jun-jae and a walk by Choo Shin-soo, Park Sung-yi singled to center field, scoring Jung Jun-jae from third base.
After a groundout by Heredia put runners on second and third, Han Yoo-seom followed with a double to center field, scoring both Choo and Park to make it 4-1.
After scoring one run in the bottom of the third, Hanwha tied the game at 4-4 with two runs in the top of the fifth. Back-to-back singles by Ahn Chi-hong and Noh Si-hwan put runners on first and 카지노 second with no outs, but Chae Eun-sung grounded out to shortstop to end the threat.
However, Kim Tae-yeon hit a double to right-center to bring home Ahn Chi-hong, and Lee Jae-won followed with an RBI single to tie the game again.

SSG added another run in the next at-bat when Go Myung-joon singled to left field, and Choi Ji-hoon drew a bases-loaded walk to load the bases and score his sixth run in the seventh inning to extend the lead to 11-4.
SSG activated its bullpen in the sixth inning and finished the game without allowing another run. Lee I-roon pitched one inning of two-hit relief, Seo Jin-yong and Han Doo-sol each pitched one inning of one-hit relief, and Park Min-ho pitched one inning of scoreless relief.
Starting pitcher Song Young-jin gave up four runs (three earned) on eight hits in five innings, but the offense helped him pick up his second win of the season.
At the plate, Choo Shin-soo went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, while Han Yoo-seom went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.
