The Korea Volleyball Organization (KOVO) announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with the city of Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, to host the 2024 Tongyeong-Dodram Cup professional volleyball tournament.

The signing ceremony was attended by KOVO Secretary General Shin Moo-cheol and Tongyeong Mayor Cheon Young-ki. Through this agreement, Tongyeong City promised to support the successful hosting of the tournament in various ways, including administrative tasks such as the rental of 토토사이트 순위 Tongyeong Gymnasium and publicity to attract spectators.

“As this is the first professional volleyball tournament to be held in Tongyeong, we will do our best to make it a success,” said Tongyeong Mayor Cheon Young-ki.

“As the last tournament attracted nearly 30,000 spectators, we expect this year’s tournament in Tongyeong, the center of the South Sea, to be a hot volleyball event,” said the Korea Volleyball Federation.

This year’s Pro Volleyball Cup will be held from Sept. 21-28 for the men and Sept. 29-Oct. 6 for the women.

The Pro Volleyball Cup was first held in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do in 2006 and has been held in different locations every year. It has been 16 years since the 2008 edition in Yangsan, Gyeongnam.
