In the 2023-2024 Korean Professional Basketball League, Seoul SK has emerged as a challenger to the dominant Wonju DB. Riding a season-high 12-game winning streak, SK dropped its last game to Busan KCC just before the All-Star break, but was still in sole possession of second place (22-9) with a 3.5-game lead over first-place DB (26-6), setting the stage for a late-season charge. The Hyundai Mobis were led by Gage Prim’s 21 points and Park Mubin’s 13 points, including three 3-pointers. For SK, Oh Jae-hyun poured in 36 points and Jamil Warney recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the team from losing. Hyundai Mobis’ 11 three-pointers, five more than SK (six), were a major factor in the win. With the win, sixth-ranked Hyundai Mobis (15-16) snapped a two-game losing streak and started the second half on a high note.

Meanwhile, ninth-ranked Daegu Korea Gas Corporation won its fourth straight game, beating third-ranked Suwon KT 80-69 at home earlier in the day.
