TOTTENHAM’S MADDISON WITHDRAWS FROM ENGLAND SQUAD AFTER ‘ANKLE INJURY’

Tottenham Hotspur (England) key midfielder James Maddison has been forced to withdraw from the England national team after suffering an untimely ankle injury. “Maddison has been withdrawn from the England squad due to an ankle injury,” Tottenham announced on its website on Tuesday. “Maddison has been withdrawn from the England squad due to an ankle injury and will continue his rehabilitation with the club’s medical team,” the club said on Tuesday .England’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta on Nov. 18 and North Macedonia on Nov. 21 effectively ruled him out of the 12th round of the English Professional Soccer Premier League (EPL) match between Tottenham and Wolverhampton on Nov. 11 at 9:30pm.

The match will be the first meeting of the season between Son Heung-min (Tottenham) and Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), who make up the South Korean national soccer team’s forward line. Spurs’ cruising start to the season was marred by a 1-4 defeat to Chelsea in their last game, which saw not only Maddison but also key defender Micky Vander Vaal pull a hamstring (a muscle in the back of the thigh).Even captain Son Heung-min’s backup, Heecharlisson, who plays up front, underwent groin 스포츠토토존 surgery the day before and is expected to be out for a while.
