The 16th National School Sports Club Festival Softball Tournament will be held at the Hyundai Motor Dream Ball Park Baseball Field in Gijang, Busan, from Feb. 2 to 5.
Hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Busan Office of Education and the Korea Sports Federation, the tournament is held in the form of a festival to awaken sports values such as good faith competition, fairness, cooperation, and challenge to participating students.
A total of 38 schools, including nine elementary schools, 14 middle schools, and 15 high schools that won the provincial superintendent’s softball tournament, will participate, with more than 700 athletes.
To create meaningful memories for the students participating in the tournament, the Busan Office of Education operated experience booths including perfume making, magic, and face painting, and organized various attractions and activities such as a cheerleading troupe performance before the ceremony and souvenir production.
Preparations were also made for the safe operation of the competition, including an on-site headquarters, ambulances, and professional trainers on standby at all times.
A representative from the Busan Office of Education said, “We hope that this tournament will become a festive place to communicate and harmonize with students from other regions in a fair sports spirit rather than competition.” “We will continue to strive to revitalize sports exchanges between schools through various school sports club activities 온라인카지노 including ‘Morning Change’.”
