New York-based indie advertising agency BARKER has launched a new campaign repositioning Parx Casino as a large-scale entertainment destination serving Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. The “What A Night” campaign launching in TV, outdoor, print and digital unveils the casino’s $50 million expansion, including two new restaurants and a live performance venue, Xcite Center.
Creative from the campaign cleverly touts taglines like “The Perfect Cut” and “Your Tables Await,” referring to the casino’s live gaming tables as well as the new restaurants. The campaign launched early February, with TV spots airing on 5 February along with the OOH and print ads.
The expansion will feature two new restaurants: An old-school pizza restaurant and the Liberty Bell Gastropub, as well as a new poker room and a 1,500-seat entertainment venue with state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. The new Xcite Center draws major performers, including Rascal Flatts, Third Eye Blind, Chicago and comedians like Dane Cook. These new additions will make Parx Casino a destination for a night out that spans beyond the casino floor, where guests can dine and delight in the entire evening, versus just a gambling pit stop.
